My waitress was on and very sweet. Food was very good and reasonable.. the only drawback is everyone I'm here beer selection is great but. Beer always is flat which means the glasses are either dirty or the same glasses and they use for everything else. They need to either clean out the lines for the craft beers or get some new pints or goblets or both.
French fries were cooked in old and cold oil. A real mess! The Blue cheese salad wedge had NO blue cheese chunks, and almost no dressing. We had to find the watress to ask for more dressing. (she never came back to see if our meal was ok) They then had the audacity, to charge us for a tiny side of dressing. NO wonder it was so sparse on a Saturday night. They won't see us again. The manager came by and never asked us if we liked our meal.
Definitely a great local watering hole with great food. The fried lobster tail is as good as it sounds. Service was quick and friendly. The owner stopped by with a great story about the fried tail origin. Extensive menu so there's something for everyone no matter how picky.
Beware of upcharges!!! The food was decent, But the service was god awful. My wife ordered her soup and it came out wrong. The waitress proceeded to still put it in front of her even though we told her it was wrong. We had to explain to her that she didn’t want it, and asked for the correct soup. So then the waitress brought out the soup and it was wrong a second time!!! The waitress then argued that it was right!! Um...no. Definitely not. In the meantime, my mother in law tried her soup. It was so salty it was inedible. The manager came over and asked if we wanted him to take the soups off the bill. Well, considering no one ate any soup at that point, why would we pay for it?! I had ordered wings with the sauce on the side. I asked for 2 different sauces to dip. Well when we get the bill, we were charged $2 EACH for the sauces. Had I known that it was an upcharge for the sauce, I would’ve never ordered them. You can get them coated in a sauce for the normal price, but they charge $2 per sauce for it to be on the side?!?! Unreal!!! I will NEVER, EVER go there again. It’s a real shame, too, because I enjoyed my food. It was the service and management that totally that destroyed it for me.
